MANGANESE   

Manganese is an essential trace mineral for every form of life.  It is only needed is small but vital levels, maybe 15mg-20mg.  Manganese is an actual component of manganese superoxide dismutase enzyme (MnSOD), which is a powerful antioxidant that seeks out and neutralizes free radicals in our bodies and their damaging effects.  This trace mineral assists with the normal functioning of the brain and nervous systems.  Deficiency symptoms although rare may include elevated blood and cholesterol levels, increased heart rate, nervousness, and irritability.  As always, excessive stored amounts of Manganese in the body's tissues can become toxic.  The recommended DRI of 15-20mg is plenty for maintaining a healthy balance.  Achieve this by consuming ¾ to 1 cup of any of the following list.  Grow these:
