SOIL BASED APPLICATION RATES

This amendment is used in its dry state. USE AS DIRECTED.  A thorough blending of product into all soil types, especially container grown crops, is recommended to ensure even distribution within the media at the time of planting. Additional product is then systematically top or side dressed into the upper garden soil surface, or container top-soil, throughout the production run or crop season.  Use only clean, plain water.

The 5 lb. bag of Slowdirt will satisfy approximately 25-5 gallon pots, or 18-7 gallon pots at the initial recommended planting applications.

5 GALLON CONTAINERS:

Blend 1/2 dry-measure cup into soil per 5-gallon pot.  Top dress and thoroughly mix into topsoil of each container with 3 Tablespoons of product at 3-week intervals from initial planting.

7 GALLON CONTAINERS:

Blend 3/4 dry-measure cup into soil per 7-gallon pot.  Top dress and thoroughly mix into topsoil of each container with 4 Tablespoons of product at 3-week intervals from initial planting.

OUTDOOR GARDEN PLOTS:

Evenly distribute and cultivate 10 lbs. per 50 sq. ft. into upper soil layer prior to planting to stimulate microbial activity.  Top or side dress around plantings and lightly cultivate with additional Slowdirt, approximately 1/2 cup per maturing plant, around precise root zones at 3 to 4-week intervals from initial planting to maintain high microbial activity, vigorous growth and optimized Chitinase production throughout the season.
